Anybody having trouble viewing the comic lately? I got an e-mail saying that they just see a red screen most of the time.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I’ll be at Fan Expo in Toronto Canada next week? Apparently somewhere in the Indy section. I haven’t been able to find a map yet. OOH! OOH! I’m gonna see Niagra Falls! Like in the tv show “Wonder Falls” oooooh, I’m totally looking for that nonexistent indian statue.
Just got into Indianapolis. I collected my badge from an unconscious Rob Balder from ErfWorld (he’ll be at our table. He’s been up for 28 hours and is FUN to poke at with a very long loopy stick)
I dumped my stuff at our table. We’re listed as “RPG Webcomics” and they’ve got us at the end of isle 1200. Facing the wall. Like the bad bad children that we are. We are kinda next to WizKids (I think?) which is cool. At least, I could see their banner when I was hauling my boxes in the back door.
Now I shall go scour the streets of Indianapolis for munchies and crunchies… at least I will once the Canadians get here. Rooming with Alina from Weregeeks. Gonna be loopy time! She and I stayed with Little Vampires in California for Comic Con and it was full of awesome.
Highlight of Comic Con was selling one of my books to Richard Pini who helped write the books that I used to learn to read. I could give a shit about Dick and Jane but I wanted to find out why the pretty lady was hurting the hot guy in the cage and to do that, I had to know what the words meant.
Got home from San Diego and washed my clothes. Now I’m off to Baltimore Maryland for Otakon. I’ll be at table C05 in Artist Alley. It’s on the corner of Avenue C and 100 Street in Hall E.
I’ll have Devil’s Panties book 5 and Men in Kilts playing cards (PG-13 thanks to a LOT of Photoshop) and Devil and Angel Girl pins and zombie shirts and um.. and other playing cards and… and… and no ponies.
See ya at Otakon!
While my dearest is Madaming her wares at the continent’s largest comic book convention, she has left this modest space in my charge.
The single condition was that I not piss anybody off, which in an Asimovian fashion renders gentlefolk like me nearly mute.
So, starting the week off by playing it safe may be the thing to do. That is to say I will only speak when asked to.
Just a quick update; Dragon Con has us down tentitively for Friday and Saturday nights at 1am in the Hyatt Hanover CDE. Same place as last year.
We will be checking ID at the door. Kilt guys gotta sign a model release form if they wanna get blown so I can use the pictures for posters and calendars. Hopefully I’ll have two photographers this year. There is a limit to the number of men that I’m able to blow in one night so we ask that if you come, come prepared to put on a show. Remember boys, we like to be teased. We want Pin Ups, not Center Folds.
For the last few days the wonderful people at Super Mario Marathon have been playing just about every Mario game ever made to raise money for Child’s Play, a charity for which my dearest has literally sold herself for in the past.
Their ultimate goal seems to be the odd but possibly significant value of $124,564.85.
They are currently at $57,530.00 and appear to have a few days of steam left in them. Let’s get them over the hump and help children across the world take their mind off the pains in their bodies and onto the soreness of their thumbs.
The last day at the beach. Of course it’s sunny and perfect. We have to eat everything out of the freezer in the beach house rental so breakfast is drumstick ice cream diet coke float. I know, diet coke sullies the float and you’re supposed to use vanilla, not drumstick, but it’s that or ginger ale and that’s what I’m planning for lunch. One last slather of sun block and nap in the sand. Gotta go jump in the waves and get some salt in my ears and sand between my toes so that when I go home tomorrow I can find sand in my shoes and remember that just that morning, I was at the ocean.
